About Swanky Aprons
Swanky Aprons was founded in 2009. As working mother with 12 years of experience working in advertising and web design, I wanted to start a business where I could leverage my experience to do something I loved, which would also fit in with my busy life. As a closet enthusiast of all things domestic, aprons seemed a natural fit.
To me, aprons represent an element of comfort and tradition that can only come at home, where for an evening or a Saturday morning we can gather in the kitchen and revel in the smells of fresh bread baking or gather with our friends for a home cooked meal. Aprons can be a fashion statement in themselves. I often plan my outfit around my apron. And, when you sit down to dinner, your clothes will stay nice and neat.
